Because This Kind of Poem Must Be Accompanied by a Dog in an Outrageous Outfit.

It’s true. This is the promise I’m making to you, fellow NaPoWriMo-ers, fellow Googlers, fellow fellows of this planet earth: when I post a poem like this, I promise to also post a photo of a dog in an outrageous outfit. And if the poem is even more unsettling than this, there shall be a cat in an outrageous outfit. And if, God forbid, it goes to a level of supreme unsettlement beyond even THAT, there shall be a squirrel in an outrageous outfit. Oh yes, my friends. Oh yes. I am prepared. So read the poem, and if it’s unsettling, look at the dog. Know that the dog is furry and kind. Know that the dog is wearing an outfit designed by Vivienne Westwood. Know that it cost two thousand five hundred pounds. Know that that is $4,987.52. Know, at least, that Moet champagne comes in a small little bottle. And be glad. Be glad, friends. Be glad.

Regardless of Forecast/Foreseen

[it's still gonna rain.]

O! O! O! “slick square of night by neon” — wow.

The rain cackling is absolutely brilliant.

The coin in the heel — wow, wow, triple WOW.

“tire-rolled skin” — this is beautiful, and I know you will think I am strange for saying that.

FIVE DIAMOND HEART NECKLACES FOR YOU! FIVE!!! YES, FIVE!!!
